Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025 · Effective upon use of this site
1. Who We Are
Toolkits4Life ("we," "our," or "the site") provides a free collection of online tools at toolkits4life.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. By using our site you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information to use any of our 152 free tools. Every calculator, converter, and generator works immediately without any registration.
All data you enter into our tools — financial figures, health measurements, text, or any other inputs — is processed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript that runs on your own device. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never written to a database, and is completely inaccessible to us. When you close the browser tab, that data is gone.
3. Automatically Collected Technical Information
Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records certain technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address (used only for security and abuse prevention), your browser type and version, your operating system, the referring URL that brought you here, which pages you visited, and the time and date of your visit. This data is collected in aggregate, is not used to identify individual users, and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Browser Storage
Toolkits4Life uses minimal browser storage to improve your experience. We may use localStorage to remember small preferences such as your chosen currency setting for financial tools. This preference data lives entirely on your own device and is never sent to us. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising tracking pixels, or any cookies that follow your activity across other websites. Privacy browser extensions and ad blockers do not affect the functionality of our tools.
5. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help cover operating costs and keep every tool permanently free. Google AdSense may use cookies and related technologies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed separately by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control ad content and are not responsible for the privacy practices of advertisers.
6. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — which tools are most popular, where traffic comes from, and how the site performs technically. Any analytics we deploy are configured to anonymise IP addresses, honour "Do Not Track" browser signals, and comply with applicable privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA. We do not build individual user profiles.
7. Data Security
Because we do not collect personal data, the risk of a breach affecting you is minimal. Your tool inputs never leave your device, so they cannot be intercepted or leaked from our systems. Our site is served exclusively over HTTPS to protect data in transit between your browser and our servers.
8. Children's Privacy
Toolkits4Life does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our site is intended for general audiences. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please notify us immediately and we will delete it without delay.
9. Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA
If you are located in the European Union or California, you have specific legal rights regarding your personal data. Since we collect no personal data beyond what our hosting provider automatically logs, there is typically very little personal information for us to act upon. However, you may contact us at any time to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of any data we may hold, and we will respond within 30 days.
EU residents additionally have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority. California residents may opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information.
10. Third-Party Links
Our site may contain links to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external websites you visit via our links.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
